Getting started
Setup, devices and your first day.
How long does setup take?
Most single-outlet shops go live in one day. We load your price list, set up racks and printers, and run your first day of orders alongside your staff. Chains usually take a week, outlet by outlet.
What devices do I need?
Any tablet, phone or computer with a modern browser for the counter, plus a 2-inch thermal label printer for QR tags. Floor staff can scan with a phone camera or a USB barcode scanner.
Can I import my existing customers?
Yes. Send us a spreadsheet with names, phone numbers and any balances, and we import it before your first day.
Do my staff need training?
Intake takes about fifteen minutes to learn. We run a short session for counter and floor staff during setup, and every screen has a help panel.
Tags and tracking
QR, RFID, racks and lookup.
Do I need special tags?
No. QR tags print on standard thermal labels and can be pinned, stapled or sewn. For linen and high volume, heat-sealed RFID tags can be read in bulk. You can mix both.
What if a tag falls off?
Search by order, customer or description, reprint the tag and reattach it. The item keeps its full history and photo.
Can customers track their own order?
Yes. Each order message includes a private tracking link showing the same timeline your staff see, without internal notes.
How do racks and slots work?
You name your racks and slots once, the way your shop is laid out. When an item is ready, staff scan the item and the slot. Search shows exactly where it is.
Damage and disputes
Photos, flags and decisions.
What if a garment gets damaged?
Every item has an intake photo and condition note. If damage happens in your shop, the timeline shows which stage. If it was already there, the photo settles it. Damage reports go to staff for a decision. Nothing is auto-resolved or auto-charged.
How long are intake photos kept?
You choose a retention period between 30 and 180 days. After that, photos are deleted automatically. Order records stay.
Are customers asked before delicate items are treated?
Yes, if you turn approvals on. The customer gets a WhatsApp or SMS with the recommended treatment and any price change, and the item waits until they reply.
Billing and payments
Your prices, receipts and our plans.
Does it work with my billing?
Ramakso includes billing: per item, per kg, express surcharges and package rates, with receipts by WhatsApp or print. Daily sales and payments export as CSV for your accountant.
Which payment methods can customers use?
Cash and card at the counter, UPI and card through payment links, and online payment in the customer app on Route and Chain plans.
How are Ramakso plans billed?
Monthly or yearly, per outlet, in US dollars. Annual plans cost the same as 10 months. See the Pricing page for details.
Data and security
Ownership, access and export.
Who owns the customer data?
You do. Customer and order data belong to the laundry. You can export it at any time, and it is never sold or shared for advertising.
How is data protected?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each staff member has their own login and role, so counter staff, floor staff and owners see only what they need.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your account pauses and data is kept for 60 days so you can export it. After that it is deleted.
Bring one day's orders.
We'll tag them with you.
A 45-minute session on your own counter data: we set up your price list, print your first tags and walk your staff through intake, racks and pickup. You leave with a working shop, not a slide deck.
